SSOP: For clean-cut financial benefits

Often existing equipment could make more efficient use of time, energy, and operating supplies. To find out where you can make savings, our SSOP, or Standardized Sanitation Operating Programme audits and analyses all cleaning processes with respect to safety, quality, environmental impact and financial efficiency. The next step is the development of a customised hygiene protocol providing standardised procedures. Our hygiene and chemical substances training courses support the integration, confirm the efficacy of the results and fine-tune the procedure where needed.

SSOP meets the statutory national standards as well as EU directives. And: You can use it as part of ISO standards.

CIP analysis: The basis for calculating improvements

What is the current condition of your cleaning equipment? Have all parameters been set correctly to ensure perfect cleaning? These questions can be answered by our CIP analysis, which also constitutes an essential part of our SSOP. We start by installing a measuring line for process data acquisition, connecting an ultrasound measurement device to the CIP flow and return flow. It digitally records the actual process parameters of the plant (flow rate, temperature, concentration, time and important valve switches). We then systematically analyse the complex data.

If you wish, we can use this as a basis for calculating the costs of the current cleaning programme, and to assess the savings potential in terms of water, energy, cleaning agent and time.

Integrated stable hygiene protocol: Better for animals and humans

Views on intensive animal farming are evolving. How can we decrease mortality rates in a gentle, safe and animal-friendly manner, in other words with fewer antibiotics and pesticides? Anti-Germ’s integrated stable hygiene protocol provides a compelling solution: The first step is the mechanical cleaning of stables, followed by disinfection with coordinated Anti-Germ solutions. The next step calls for the thorough control of harmful organisms. This reduces the risk of a cycle of pesticide dependency – organisms develop resistance to pesticides, requiring new pesticides, which leads to new resistance, etc. Our Medentech Aquatabs are used to disinfect well water and make it slightly acidic. In addition, herbal products are available to calm animals naturally. The added advantage: Animals will be hungrier, eat more, and gain more weight. While our means of reducing mortality are sustainable, the cost-benefit-ratio reinforces our customers’ decision to take these steps.

Hygiene training courses for food producing companies

Employees of food producing companies must receive training at regular intervals. As we are specialists for food safety, our training courses are in strong demand. These courses focus on two areas: The first area is creating comprehensive awareness the importance of hygiene and of the possible consequences of mistakes. Your employees will be provided with clear comparisons, for example of the difference between inadequately cleaned hands and hands that have been professionally washed and disinfected. The second area is chemical substances training, which concerns the proper handling and safe storage of chemicals, as well as understanding labels and necessary security precautions such as safety goggles and gloves. In guided tours of your facility, we show practical examples and corresponding improvements. In this way our training courses reduce potential hazards for your employees and ensure safe production.
